FAQ
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC CAN BE PERFORMED AT CONTEST?
When it comes to contests, it's important to keep in mind that the standard repertoire is usually expected. This means that pop songs or student composed pieces may not be allowed. Let us know if you need any further assistance with this.
WHO ARE THE JUDGES FOR SOLO & ENSEMBLE CONTEST?
Scissortail Solo & Ensemble Contest is committed to providing a fair and high-quality experience for all participants. To ensure this, we only use trained and experienced judges who are current or former teachers. You can trust that your performance will be evaluated by knowledgeable professionals in the field.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY RATING FOR CONTEST?
Contest ratings will be posted approximately 30 minutes after each performance. Judging sheets will be available once all students from the same studio/school have performed, or if it's an individual entry, after the rating is posted. The Outstanding Soloist Award will be announced at the end of the day.
